Here's what you can get at your home
What to consider when picking a broadband deal?
Availability
You’ll need to check your postcode to find out if we’re available in your area. When you’ve seen how fast you can go and what broadband deals you can get, you’ll be ready to start comparing our offers.
Internet speed
Choose a broadband only deal that will give you the internet speed you need. You could look into:
- M125 Fibre Broadband, if you have up to 9 devices.
- M250 Fibre Broadband and above, if you have 10 or more devices.
- M350 Fibre Broadband and faster speeds, made for online gaming and busy, gadget-filled homes.
Learn about our speeds, for help if you’re not sure how fast you really need to go.
Data allowance
All of our broadband deals let you make unlimited downloads. There’s no monthly broadband data allowance for you to worry about – whereas, on some other networks, if it this were to run out, you may need to decide between paying extra charges to use the internet or staying offline until the allowance refreshes at the end of the month.
Cost
Check that the monthly price of the broadband only plan is within your budget. And make sure you understand any one-off costs, such as a setup fee or delivery charges, so you don’t get any surprises. You can tap ‘Plan details’ to find out more about each of our broadband only deals.
Bundles
Our broadband and TV deals are often cheaper than getting broadband on its own. Why not see if having TV with your broadband can help you save each month, before you commit to having a broadband only deal?
Contract length
Consider how long you can commit to signing up for. Our longer 24-month contract broadband only deals may offer better value than the 18-month option, while our shorter rolling-contracts may offer more flexibility.
Working from home
Is your business registered to your home address? If so, you could get one of our fixed price business broadband deals, backed up by 24/7 phone support for even more peace of mind.
What does broadband only mean?
These broadband only deals offer a superfast, reliable connection to the internet without the need to take a home phone service. Sometimes called WiFi without phone or internet without phone line, these deals let you avoid the cost of a landline that may not necessarily be used.
How does no landline broadband work?
Sign up to the deal that’s right for you and you’ll soon have our broadband on its own. Our WiFi Hub will provide you with superfast internet connection without needing a home phone line or service.
If you don’t fancy being tied into a long contract, why not take a look at our flexible contracts? With no early disconnection fees and the freedom to cancel with just 30 days' notice, our flexible contract broadband is perfect for those who are after a short-term contract

No, you won’t be charged line rental for our broadband only deals. We’re not the type of network that uses telephone lines to power our broadband only service.
Yes, our broadband only deals are all fibre-optic. The only thing you will need to check is if you can get Virgin Media in your area, which you can do with our broadband postcode checker.
This depends on the type of installation you need. When placing your order at checkout:
- Look out for the QuickStart self-installation option – If available, this is often the fastest way to get up and running with our fibre broadband deals.
- Or you can book an engineer visit – Our engineers will send one of the team to get you up and running with your new fibre broadband.
It’s quick and easy to switch broadband providers and move to Virgin Media. There’s no need to tell your current provider or give them 30 days’ notice, and you can switch at any time to one of our best broadband deals though if you do so before your minimum term is up, you might be charged fees.
Simply choose your prefered bundle across all our broadband, tv and phone deals. Once chosen, you can start your broadband switch, firstly just check if you're eligible using our postcode checker. Then you’ll be asked to give us some details, including your current broadband provider, surname, address, account number and the services you want to switch. We’ll use these to find your account with your current provider. If we can’t do this, you’ll need to contact your current provider to check your details or disconnect from them yourself.
Your current provider will send you some important info, including details of any early disconnection fees, which you should read before you agree to switch broadband providers.
Using our switching service, your connection won’t be interrupted, and you won’t have to pay for two providers while we get things sorted.
To learn more, check out our video guide here.
This'll depend on where you are in the process. You can place an order with us using our switching service, but you might need to get in touch with your current provider to make sure you won’t lose access to your services too early.
We offer a QuickStart kit that makes it easy to set things up yourself – it can be delivered to most homes or Click & Collect points.
If QuickStart isn’t available in your area, we’ll send out an engineer at no extra cost. If you can get a QuickStart kit but choose not to use it, you’ll need to pay £30 for an appointment.
And just so you know, our services always come with an activation fee of £35.
No, you can reschedule your installation worry-free – we'll take care of everything with your current provider and make sure you aren't left without services while you switch.
The best thing to do is switch your services before you move. Then, once you’re ready to move, just follow our steps in the link below .
Yes – in the unlikely event that something's not quite right, we'll automatically compensate you on your first bill in line with our compensation policy.
